Day 6-Kenpo X

Today was Day 6 of P90X for us.  We made it through the first week!  It feels so good to have made it through those six workouts and to know that tomorrow is our "rest day" where we can either do nothing or do the Stretch DVD.  I think we'll probably do the Stretch DVD to make sure that we are all stretched out and relaxed and ready to go on Wednesday.

Day 6 for us was Kenpo.  Kenpo was a ton of fun and a great way to end our first week.  Kenpo is a 55 minute, kicking, punching and sweating!  We worked off a ton of calories and had a blast doing it.  Perhaps the best part of the workout is the fact that, as my husband said, jumping jacks are a break, and the fact that we could keep up with the group was amazing to us. 

I have noticed today that my legs are stronger and that a lot of the moves (side kicks and even the jumping jacks) are so much easier now.  They are very challenging but I have noticed a big difference in my strength levels and endurance just in one week.
